Nigeria Police Force Recruitment Ongoing.. On Saturday, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) announced it has begun its recruitment exercise for new officers in 2020.
Police spokesman Frank Mba said in a statement that from July through mid-August the security agency is recruiting qualified persons as constables.
According to Mba, interested applicants must be aged between 17 and 25 years and must have at least five credits in WASSCE / NECO / GCE / NABTEB, including English and Mathematics.
“Applicants must be medically, mentally and psychologically fit and not less than 1.67 m in height for male and 1.64 m in height for female,” Mba said.
Police spokesman said at the time of the recruitment female candidates would not be pregnant.
He said all electronic recruitment processes are being carried out and urged applicants to visitNPF RECRUITMENT PORTAL to complete the online registration form.
Mba noted that applicants who meet online registration criteria will be invited to physical screen at all state commands, including the FCT Command, from August 24, 2020 to August 30th, 2020.
Police spokesman said the names of successful candidates on September 14, 2020 and other platforms will be published in national newspapers.
Mba told disabled people not to apply. They include “prevention in speech of gross malformation of teeth or jaw preventing proper chewing of food, knocked knees, bowlegs, bent knees (knees that can not be straightened when attentive),”
It is also advised not to apply for the recruitment exercise for persons with “deformed hands that can not perform full hand functions, defective eyesight or squints eyes and amputation of any part of the body.”
