Three people lost their lives when two buildings collapsed in kano state.
One of them died as a result of the collapse of a building in Dawanu, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano.
The deceased ‘s father, Mallam Buba Anwar, said the sad incident happened at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to Anwar, he had the idea that the sad incident might happen, and he quickly told his wife to take the children out of their room.
However, though they were able to save the baby girl, the baby boy could not be reached and died in the process.
Similarly, at midnight, two boys lost their lives as a building collapsed in Gwammaja Yan Kwosai, Dala, Kano State Local Government Area.
The State Fire Service spokesperson, Saidu Mohammed, said all 10 victims had rushed to the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, where a four-year – old boy, Abdullah Anass, and his six-year – old brother, Abdulmalik Anass, had been confirmed dead.
“Around 12:00 a.m., we received a distress call from Yan Kwasai in the Dala Local Government Area that a one-storey building collapsed. Our rescue team rushed to the scene and rescued 10 people, while we were told that eight others were still stuck in the house, “said the spokesperson.
Meanwhile, the remains of the victim were handed over to the Sango Buhari Ward Chief, Alhaji Yahaya.
