Hushpuppi’s Trial Suspended In The United States Till 2021
The trial of Instagram’s celebrity, Ramoni Abbas, popularly known as Hushpouppi, was postponed to 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is found in the orders of Judge Otis Wright in the chambers. His trial will resume at 9:00 a.m. May 4, 2021.
Recall that new evidence against the suspected Internet fraudster located in Dubai was submitted last month.
The 37-year-old is facing a four-year scheme to commit wire fraud, money laundering conspirators, foreign money laundering, and to participate in monetary transactions on property resulting from defined criminal activity.
He was arrested months ago in Dubai, along with his friend Woodberry and others, and sent to the U.S. for trial.
