BBNaija: What I Learnt From My Disqualification – Erica
Disqualified Big Brother Naija Lockdown, Erica said that her disqualification from the show taught her to use her mind rather than her emotions.
Erica was disqualified from the Big Brother ‘Lockdown’ version after she flouted the core rules of the house.
The Abia-born actress also tried to kill a housemate, Laycon, outside the reality TV show.
She was also found guilty of pouring water on the head of the house bed in order to prevent her deputy, Prince, from getting access, which contributed to her automatic disqualification from the program.
However, speaking during a Sunday interview with Veteran journalist and Ovation magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, Erica said she benefited a lot from the unpleasant experiences she had in the building.
According to her, being eliminated from the show taught her not to be too arrogant because she knew that those who had their backs in the house didn’t feel the same way about her.
“I have learned not to be too emotional, but to use my brain rather than my heart.
“Experience has also taught me how to be more relaxed with myself and not to seek pleasure in others.
“I’m still working on myself, too; I think there’s a change, and I know it’s a huge step to be better to admit that there’s a fault working on.
“I know that I let my emotions get a better part of me, and I’m still working on that.
“But then, I’m grateful for all of these experiences; I’m glad the show was able to teach me all of them. I’m really grateful for all that, “she said.
