Schools in Anambra State have been ordered by the government to resume and come back to normal acticites as from Monday, 7th September 2020.
The government in a statement disclosed on Wednesday by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Basic Education, Nwabuezue Nwankwo declared that Junior secondary school students will resume on Monday, September 7.
For the third term of the 2019/2020 Academic Session, primary school pupils, as well as students in senior secondary schools, will resume their studies on 14 September.
The statement directed students in the boarding system to resume the weekend before the actual resumption date while parents are to provide alcohol-based hand sanitizers and face masks for their kids and wards.
Schools, on the other hand, are expected to ensure compliance with all COVID-19 protocols and to monitor the health of students.
